This week I stumbled upon a random boutique's grand opening that featured a fiddle player, miniature horses, and the best chili I've had in a while.
Last night I went bowling with the office (more fun than it sounds), and afterwards to these people's dance party in Echo Park, where I danced till 3:00 AM. Although a coworker had told me about it, I went by myself, and I have to say I'm mighty proud of that fact. Going places by oneself is very underrated, I assure you.
Tomorrow I'm having brunch with my parents, a knitting class in the early afternoon, and then I'm off to have some funnel cake with Willie Nelson.
My terrific boss gave me Monday off, though now Pest Control wants to come at 9:00 AM that day, jeopardizing my sleeping-in time. Plus, who wants to be awoken by Pest Control on their birthday?
