So...
I went again. And now I'm back again.
So I think it's a reasonable time to elucidate the things that have annoyed me in the past two weeks:
Racial intolerance. Well known son-of-a-Nazi-whore and BNP leader Nick Griffin was filmed last year by an undercover BBC operative (ha!) preaching his own special brand of race hate. Griffin's worst quote was about Muslims: he basically claimed that Muslims impregnate white girls where at all possible, and then when the 'white' community doesn't want the baby, the Muslims take it for their own and thus perpetuate and further their race. A race he then described as "wicked and evil."
Griffin was let off scot free by the courts, despite his comments clearly fermenting hate amongst a small moronic percentage of the population that will undoubtledly interpret his words as "Muslims will steal your children.
He also went on to say that murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence used to steal other student's dinner money, and that he was killed by "another black". Thus proving that any brains he ever had have dribbled out his ear.
I also condemn the 'Muslim' who decided to dress up as suicide bomber. It works both ways.
(Although I have no idea how you would go about 'dressing up' as a suicide bomber.
The non-entity that I believe is dubbed "Chantelle", winning "Celebrity" Big Brother. Thus proving that fame is now something achieved by those with no endearing qualities whatsoever. Incidentally, a couple of months back I caught a program that was looking at the obsession with fame. It interviewed a couple of fame-hungry young girls, one of whom said she wanted a role in a stage-show to become famous, in order that she could "be idolized." Never have I heard a more chilling statement from one so young...
On a similar subject: "Chantelle" and people that look like her. Blonde hair extensions, false nails, makeup applied with garden implements and unattractive piggy little features. Yet suddenly, she's become a model, and men (I use the term loosely) are describing her as "well fit." Why are these women viewed as attractive? Something is seriously wrong.
Thursday 9th February. (Or "too much live music" night.) My own personal goddess, Jenny Lewis, is doing a solo gig in London on this date. Unfortunately I'm already scheduled to go and review a Mew gig at Shepherd's Bush. There's also 'And What Will Be Left Of Them' at the Brixton Windmill, and 'Clap Your Hands Say Yeah' at Brighton's Concorde 2. Not to denigrate Mew, 'cause they're very good, BUT I'D RATHER BE ACROSS TOWN WORSHIPPING JENNY! At least she'll be back in the Spring...
My luck. After 3-4 years of steadfastly ignoring females that I might conceivably find attractive, I finally find someone that I really like. Unfortunately, she's mental. I try not to use 'mental' as a perjorative term, but she has a serious mental condition. One which, as a dabbler in mental health, I probably should have noticed...
Oh well!

I'm sure the only reason people want to be elected to the SU is that they get a year off doing very little, and get PAID for it. Pah!
