RIP Albus Dumblekitty: June 27th, 2007 to February 4th, 2008.
This morning at about 3am I saw Albus convulsing near the bed, he was having a seizure. We immediately took him to the emergency pet hospital and they ran over 13 tests on him and eventually put him into an oxygen box so he could sustain until we could take him to our main vet. He couldn't stand and when he tried to (when we went to go take a look at him) he just fell.
The doctor told me his chances of survival were slim, and when we finally got him to the main vet she told us the same thing, and that if we wanted him to stay alive, it would cost thousands of dollars and he would be suffering the entire time.
We had to put him down. This was my first pet, and watching it was the most heartwrenching experience of my entire life. I cried so hard, and have been for hours.
As for the vet bill, it amounted to over $1000. A hefty sum that without any donations will put us into bankruptcy. If there is any money you can spare at all. A dollar, five dollars, anything, please email me on here and I'll give you my Paypal account.
