L'Amour Stories

So Morgan left to go back to Baltimore, and here I am sitting here at work, feeling all crappy.

Of course I already miss her. I'm not going to lie about it and try and be tough, we were both blubbering fools at the bus station. It's impossible not to miss someone so much when you spend so much time with them in such a small amount of time (only three days). I've never felt so close with someone as I have with her. I said to myself over and over and over again that I would never get myself into a long-distance relationship. They're stupid and impractical and lame.

Well, here I am, and to be honest, I'm not all that phased about it. She means too much to me, and I have no idea how, if I was single and went to Florida, how I could even possibly find anyone that even holds a candle to how amazing she is. Hell, I doubt any girl I meet could hold a whole menorah to her (on the eighth night of course).

She's great, and I don't want anyone else. This was hands down the best weekend I've ever had, minus all of the work that I had to do. But even when I was doing something as stupid as work, there she was, talking to me, laughing at me freaking out over the stupid online games I play at work, smiling at me when I did something minutely important at work. . .supporting me!!

And as grateful as I am for the opportunity to be with her, I can't say I'm too happy (or surprised for that matter) at the situation. At the moment I'm already going on Warped Tour during some of the time she'll be back, and when she's gone in Australia I'll be on my road trip, thinking about her the entire way. We've decided that we're going to try and buy her trip insurance and hopefully be able to cancel the trip in time, haha. I've still got that hotel booked at the Westin with extra space in my bed.

But yeah, this weekend was amazing. The Hurricanes won twice, and I got to spend time with the girl I adore. Things just don't get better, they really don't.
