Dude, so tired and so happy. Got to get back truckin' on. 80 hours of work 'tween now and Friday night, but then it's the Subway Series and I think, thoughI don't want to jinx anything, a weekend off after 11 in a row working. 11 in a row! Damn. I'm pretty proud of the work I've done this spring. I seriously had no idea I had that kind of consistency and stamina in me. Good to know. Hope all be well with you.

Summer update. So, here I am early morning on the twenty second of June. I am sure played out. I just walked home from the office, and the city is deliciously hot and quiet. I'm writing a lot again, after a good long time of not writng creativley. I'm writing a big free verse about new york city in the hot gritty summer, and also a story about a summer that I passed through a while ago. I wish I had a stoop to sit on, but I ain't in a brownstone.
Every apartment/house in new york has it's issues. In North Carolina of course we have a back porch, front steps, a hammock, a glider, pretty much all things for every mood. That doesn't fly here. But that's ok. I'm starting to really like New York right now. I'm having a really nice time with a good crew of guys. Life is really simple and sweet. Nice to have excised alot of the complications and accentuated the positive vibes.
Traded the ladies for infield hits.
Now that isn't entirely fair or true, though . . . I just feel like I got done with the insane women, so I feel like the heavy psychotic lifting got done a couple years ago and the sun has really dried everything out well and truly. Things took a while to get shaken out, especially with how sick i got in the winter. Nearly croaking will kind of shake your moorings a little. It isn't for the worse necessarily, though. For some reason things just make me happy right now. Whil e I distrust it a little out of habit, I just am a smiling fool.
Let's go Mets!
