It's funny.

No one answered my question about soulmates.

Anyway, people either don't feel me anymore to read my journal, don't have that in them anymore, or won't admit it (or think this is too stupid a forum).

The Commitments was a nice flick. It got those guys and Percy Sledge way to much credit for the song "The Dark End of the Street " Percy and the Commitments Made illicit love sound perky and sanitary. Like going to the shade for a bomb pop

But here's Clarence Carter making it sound raw, like only he can.


I give you a song about just how people often got to claw for what they want, riht or wrong - how it's gritty, and dirty and real.




Beautiful song.

Don't agree with it, but I love it.

To me that's a powerful voice.

A man who can get you to love the words and the music even if you've been on the other side of of that street in your life any time someone's been "slipping round"
