As a Sox fan, I have to be happy for the Phillies because I feel for hard luck cases. But I remember the 2003 ALCS. I remember the '86 WS, Roger clemens getting tossed in the first inning on the 1990 (2?) ALCS. I was born during the '75 series. I feel your pain. The Sox nearly blew it worse.

Remember there is next year, and you have some great youngsters that will never forget this, and will fight for the day they get theirs back at the cruel baseball gods. Reyes and Wright will one day get revenge a ring.

From a fan of a team that packed it in a few weeks earlier then yours this year, my condolences. I only take solace in having Rockies-Padres tickets tomorrow, and an NLDS ticket. It's not the same, not even close, but it's baseball, and it is the greatest of my sports passions. By far.
