So I got out to the Jazz Festival today. It was great fun, I got to see:
David 'Fathead' Newman - Tribute to Ray Charles
The Regal Brass Band of New Orleans
Nancy Davis w/spg Sautee
Medeski Martin & Wood
and I cought partial concerts of a bunch of others. Great fun was had over all. The funny thing was the contrast between audiences, generally a good mix of people (light, dark, young, old,etc) all around except the Medeski Martin & Wood set. They were all young white folk, I was wondering where they all came from ^_^
Other updates involve me working too much and trying to keep up with school, its about half way thorugh my first term at my new online college and I am still loving it. It gives me more and greater oppurtunitys to learn.
