Time is short.
Do you ever get that feeling that you will never accomplish ALL the things you want to do? For me, it's almost to the point of despair.... but maybe I want too much. There simply isn't enough time to do it all. I think we should consider making it a 36 hour day instead of a 24 hour day. Who wants to sign the petition?
I met a girl this weekend, Kelly, who has done several of the interesting things I have yet to do but still REALLY want to do. Bungee, skydive...etc... AND she's younger than I am. It makes me feel like I am wasting time...
It sounds cliche' but we seriously need to seize the day, everyday. (Wish I could practice what I preach) Do we really have to choose between job and life? Where is the happy medium? Where is the balance? I friggin hate the position responsibility and the politics of life can sometimes put us in. I want freedom but can't have total freedom without financial backing. Can't have financial backing without a good job or career. (or trust fund, which I don't have). Can't have a career if you want total freedom. Vicious circle. Man. Tired. Working too much...and for what.
