For those that have been reading my journal, I found out today from my neighbor's father today that she had to have her spleen removed, her right arm was broken in three spots, three broken ribs,and a "slight" skull fracture. Nice way to start off the week, huh? Apparently she is going to be ok, but it is going to take some time. He also wanted to express thanks me my "interveining" in the "altercation".

The local police are pressing several charges against the "kid", who is 15, 5'10", weighs 210 pounds, and is now working on his THIRD assault charge. The punk was just expelled from school last week and has a criminal assault charge pending for shoving a 12 year old girl who was all of about 80 pounds into a locker at school which put her in the hospital for 2 days. Currently, the punk is in juvinille detention and has $150k bound against him.

Good note for myself, I have been informed by a couple of my police friends who work in this area that because of the circumstances, I don't have to be worried about any charges at all. Apparently the "kids" parents have enough to worry about at the moment. These people have little and because of this kid, no one wants to help them.

Here's something to top it off, my neighbor's parents are both attorneys.
