This year is almost over. Thank God.

Resolutions? Stay tuned. I have to think about that.

Got some parties to go to New Years Eve. Hope I don't get drunk and puke . That would make me frown .

Stay safe all you partiers. The roads get really stupid. Or maybe it's just some of the people on them.

Paths Chosen
The Doc Martins she was wearing were cracked and split in several places. The boots were the best present she had recieved from anyone in fifteen years beside the calf-length black leather coat she also wore as she walked along the quiet residential street. But it also showed about as much wear and tear as boots she now trudged in.

She didn't belong here. She knew it. It wasn't just from the looks of the pamper kids that zipped by on their bikes and rollerblades. It wasn't from the objectionalb glares of the soccer moms who drove by in their polished, garage protected mini-vans. She felt it as soon as she got off the bus at the entrance of the neighborhood. But she had to find him.

She didn't care that he was married now. She didn't care that she hadn't seen or talked him in almost seven years. He was the one person that ever truly cared about her without wanting anything from her. And she blew it. She knew it now, after fifteen fucking years, two shitty marriages, nine horrendeous relationships, three od's, countless beatings, six rapes, cheatings, leavings. It finally hit her. Things could of been better with him.

She knew it was crazy, but she couldn't stop herself. What would she say? Tears now, couldn't stop them.
"What the hell was wrong with me?", she spoke aloud.
Three kids looked her way from the porch of a two-story brick tudor. She crossed her arms and dipped her head down further. The Docs echoed off the houses in an even rhythm of the houses as she walked toward her destination.
