Ok, it's official, I am ILL (please, no smartass comments, I feel shitty enough already). Not just your "Mom, I don't feel like going to school today" sick. Nope this is the full fledged flu. Not just your Nyquil commercial type, but your "Burning Zone" type sick. Woke up completely soaked my PJs from sweat. My chest feels like it's on fire and I nearly pass out everytime I cough, which is quite frequently, I got one of those headaches where I don't need to watch Sci-Fi to be entertained, my entire body feels like I was stomped on two or three times by pissed off horse (I'm sure my imagery really sucks, but give me a break, I'm sick).
I started reading a thread entitled "Soups On" and so wished that I had the energy get my ass up and make some. I hate being sick.
I was supposed to back up a friend of mine on a couple songs at a coffee house gig today, but had to cancel. I could tell she was pissed but my voice currently has the sound of an old car trying to start with gravel being used as oil, so she was understanding. Then get this, for those that have been reading, the girl in my dream who took my eyebrow, actually (true life) calls me up to get a ride to the gig because her car isn't running. The Fates are cruel to me!!!! I have to turn her down. I don't even want to spend time with myself right now. There's no way I'm going to spend time with her in this condition.
Dream of the Day:
I dreamed I was hanging out with people in Seattle, I never been there. The only things I really know about are the Space Needle and the Mariners. We're walking down this brick street and someone says "hey, lets go below". One guy opens a sidewalk door and everbody walks down and there's like a old town down there. Shops, Buildings, houses, everybody's running around like little kids and this guy in a long black coat walks out of the shops and up to me and says "you guys shouldn't be down here" then he kinda melts away. I look around and can't see anyone but I can hear them yelling. Then I see the guy in the coat walking far away with a bloody knife. End Dream
Soup still sounds so good. Wish me luck, everytime I get up to walk I get dizzy and about fall over.

Wow, hope you get better soon. My little boy was up last night until 4am with the worst case of flu I've ever seen. Without being totally sick, we had to throw out six pairs of his boxer shorts last night!! He just kept crying saying things like "why's this have to happen to kids?" I've heard its going around really bad right now. I do hope you feel better. Get some rest and some soup!!
