I hate my neighbors!! I don't know how the fuck they do it, but this family of three manages to to be as loud as hell about 24 hours a day. It's not a fucking TV or stereo. It's them and the various white trash that they allow into the building! There's just the a guy who you never hear a peep out of, his wife that is confined to a wheel chair and is the loudest and mouthiest bitch I ever run across, and their bratty ass kid. Well today they fucked up big.
Since they moved in about a year ago, I could come home at any time of the day and the fucking common door to the apartment building is either unlocked or propped open. Right now of the four apartment up stairs only three are occupied; myself, the girls across the hall, and the loud ass family downstairs from me. So about a month ago, I asked the girls across the hall if they were doing it and they told me that "the downstairs assholes" said I was doing it. So we both called the landlord and she had autolock put on the door that sounds an alarm if the door is propped open too long.
Well yesterday I stopped home between clients and see somebody had taken apart the auto close on the door. So I call the landlord again to let her know. As I'm driving to my next client my landlord calls and tells me the people below me said that I took it apart. My response: "If I took it apart, why the fuck would I call you about it?!".
I proceed to give her an epic list of complaints on the white trash bullshit these people having been pulling since they moved in. My landlord confides to me that the girl lived across the hall from them before the the couple that got arrested a couple of months ago moved out because of these people and various fucked up bullshit which includes somebody either pouring piss, or actually pissing, under her door, leaving lewd or threatening notes in her mailbox, and finally catching the kid peeping in her window one night by climbing a tree outside her bedroom.
The landlord says she had it and she's calling the cops. Well I get home after my last session, and once again there's there's a bevy of cop cars outside the building; two locals and a county sheriff, also the landlord and her husband. I walk in the entry way and not only is the door closer dismantled, it's gone and there's a huge hole on the wall where it was anchored and the top of the door is splintered BAFR!!
The female sheriff looks at me and calls me by name. She looks familiar, but I can't place her. She pulls me aside and says, "Your neighbor lady says that you did this today", pointing to the door. All I can do is laugh. I look at her and say, "I left here this morning at 6:00 and this was fine. I came home for about ten minutes around 1:00pm and it was taken apart and I called the landlord about it". Then she asks me, "You can verify all your appointments that I don't know about today right?". I kind of wonder what she means but I tell her yes and show her the list out of my appointment book.
She asks me to go back with her to the neighbors apt. and asks the lady, "What time did you say that he did this?" The neighbor bitch says it was around 11:00am she heard me taking it apart and about 3:00pm when she heard me ripping it off the wall and the door. Of course, all I can do is laugh because I can't even believe this bitch is saying this shit with a straight face. The landlord and her husband don't say a damn word. The lady sheriff says to the neighbor, "You want to try that again because I know for a fact that's incorrect". Now my neighbor gets all defensive and yells at the cop "What? Are you calling me a liar?!".
The lady cop says "Maam I know that is completely false because this man is my massage therapist and had been for the past three years and at 11:00am every Friday for the past three years I have had an appointment with him. I also know that he couldn't of been anywhere near here in the afternoon because my sister and my sister-in-law have regular appointments with him every Friday in the afternoon as well in Tinley Park just about the same time you said he tore the door apart".
Hey, I had to do a double take. It didn't dawn on me who she was until that moment. I knew all three of these women were related in some way, but I didn't know she was a cop. Then she says, "This is what's going to happen. I going to let this man go to his apartment because I know he's had a long day, then you and I are going to get to the bottom of this".
So I came up stairs and got to listen to all kinds of yelling and threats of lawyers being drawn and various other bullshit from the neighbor bitch. The lady cop calls me about an hour and a half later laughing her ass off about the whole scene. She thinks it's even funnier that I didn't recognize her.
After a having a laugh, she tells me that the lady finally fessed up that it was the kid that did it and that she put him up to it. They have now been given thirty days to vacate. The kid has been sent off to stay with his grandparents because the police also found out that besides the bullshit he's been pulling around the apartment, he hasn't been in school for the past two weeks. And at the request of the landlord, he is no longer allowed on the property, and the police are to be notified if he is seen here again.
Well now the front door to the building has been replaced. The neighbor dude came up to apologize for his wifes bullshit and to say that she is now at her sisters. And for the past three hours it has been quieter in here that it has been in almost a year. There's only a couple things that would top this evening off better.
