Well today was a beautiful day. I offered to help a couple friends rebuild their basement foyer. Within ten minutes of arrivinig, I was leaving in an ambulance. My friend Joe decided to unhook an 80 lb support beam without bracing it. It swung down, knocked him on his ass, hit the floor, broke in half, and hit me on the right side of my face.
Well after 10 stiches inside my mouth, 2 cracked teeth, 7 stiches on my right ear, about 15 cranial x-rays, an emergency trip to the dentist/oral surgeon (5 hours), I am home with a few good drugs, a couple friends waiting on me hand and foot, and a laundry list of dental and doctor appointments for about the next month. sorry I don't have a digital camera to show the gore. Oh well.
Moral: No good dded goes unpunished. God my fucking head hurts!

Take care of yourself please when I get to Chicago someday I expect you to be in one piece.
For some reason I am imagining pictures from rotten.com when I wonder how you looked as you were being rushed to the emergency room. I don't know why.
Hope the good drugs make it at least a little worthwhile.
