Why do some people get so shitty when you don't agree with their thoughts on who you should be with or to "hook-up". I know my friends are only trying to be helpful, but I have never liked people trying to set me up. I find it extremely condescending.

My friends Z and Jake decide they needed to lecture me about my "promiscuity". It felt more like an intervention. I think they have the wrong impression of me. I don't "hook-up" with different women every night and when I do "hook-up", I practice safe. I don't make any dumb promises or uses sleazy tactics to "hook-up" with women. And hey, it's a two-way street. The women I meet are intellegent enough to make their own decisions. So, when I don't have any interest in women my friends think I should get together with, I'm a pussy hound. What the hell is that all about.
