the fuck buddy thing is tough, though. usually feelings end up getting involved from one end or the other (or both, which could be a good thing). i've only had that work out if it was something that happened once or twice between good friends.

my friend just bought herself a new car cuz hers kept givin her a bad time the last few weeks......
i had a sucky weekend because SG wouldn't let me on here at all. i had fears of being thrown off or my credit card bein maxed (ludicrous since i just paid it off ...yaaaaaaaaaaaaay)......

i got friends flyin in from AZ tonight and am thrilled to pieces. this is going to be the best 4th of july weekend ever. with the exception of me having to work on saturday morning for a couple hours.

ooo yeah... i have that problem sometimes. it can be embarasing (i also need an insta-spell check - i don't think that's how you're supposed to spell embarasing).

the breathalizer will happen someday. but would it work? wouldn't you just turn it off or disable it if you were drunk and felt you had the perfect thing to say to someone?

duooooooood----- no way. don't even fall for that. it causes bad feelings on BOTH sides. bad idea bad idea.

My verdict is also DON'T DO IT. Sometimes just knowing that you could if you wanted to is good enough. This situation could easily turn into the biggest nightmare drama ever and then the next thing you know you'll all be on the Jerry Springer show and somehow you'll end up being the bad guy.

The girl worries me. Of course she's going to be psycho and jealous that you are hitting it off with her friend because secretly (or maybe it's not so secretly it seems) she has it for you and wants you for herself. Girls can be weird like this about certain guys in their lives.

My advice to you is....(i) be a good friend to both and do not ever let it happen, (ii) do not ever let yourself be in a situation with her alone ever (especially if late nights and alcohol is involved), and (iii) date outside of the circle of this group of friends. She'll still hate the girl but at least the girl won't be her friend.

Tell her thanks but no thanks next time she offers and let her know this makes you feel very uncomfortable, you are sure that fiance' wouldn't like it either, and that you would appreciate it if she would respect everyone that is involved and please not go there anymore. She may be bitter and cold to you after this but oh well.....at least she'll leave you alone hopefully and stop doing this.
