Well it's been a long time since I've posted here, but there has been so much happening. Health wise, I've been on a journey of self discovery (still ongoing). I've been juicing vegetables daily, and within 5 days, I swear I felt like a new person. The detox was intense, my mind felt clear. The anxiety and panic disappeared, I was going out every day. That compared to not leaving the house unless it was to hospital or the counsellor. The palpitations ended, my energy is through the roof. It has changed my life. It is still changing my life!
Also if you couldn't tell from the picture above, we are thrilled to be having a baby! It's totally unexpected, but we are both over the moon. We thought it may have been something that wouldn't happen, so we are just so happy and grateful. If all continues to go well, we will meet in January!
Generally I've been doing well health wise, morning sickness (all day) sucks! Worst heartburn EVER, all the time. But apart from that, I consider myself pretty lucky as some can suffer a lot worse!
Apart from that I'm still seeing my counsellor (who continues to be amazing), and we plan to continue throughout and after the pregnancy, it's important for me to have emotional support throughout and afterwards to support me with the emotional changes to come. She has been really important to me, we've worked on stress handling techniques, breathing exercises and worked through some important emotional traumas. I am so happy I've found her and we have such a great relationship.
So... Finally an update! I'm not on here as much as I used to be, but I still check in and see what all of you are up to!
