Well, I went back to my GP after spending Saturday morning in ED to follow up the results. The Halter showed I had many extra (ectopic) beats over that 24 hour period - so I was glad they could see that and I ain't nuts!
The Thyroid results weren't in with the GP today so I am waiting for my Dr to call me with them when they come through. Hopefully get a clear answer. In the mean time I've been put on low dose Beta Blocker tablets to try for a about 6 months and see if they stop the palpitations. Also booked in for an Echocardiogram (Heart Ultrasound) next Friday just to double check nothing bad is happening with my good old heart.
Hopefully get a call tomorrow from my Dr to tell me something good. I hope you are all well out there. Xxx
