I spent Monday and Tuesday in the shire, for my unions womens conference - i put in 1 motion, it was voted in as a resolution, then it had to go to the executive (who is mainly men, an are againt anything women) so they bascially said it was stupid and wouldnt let it go to the floor of main conference.

Which i think sucked, but hey, ill try again next time and see what happens.

Tonight i went to the apheda - Union Aid Abroad dinner at Petersham RSL, Tim for Big Brother hosted it along from one of the guys from CNNN/The Chaser.. it was really fun and very funny.. Tim is quite cute in real life, and has great hair. hehe

Dont have much else to say, I am reading a book at the moment called marrying buddha, which is the sequal to Shanghai baby which was banned in china.. its really good and very well written, i really love the way she writes, full of passion...

No idea what im doing on the weekend, just going to meet up with an old gig buddy and see what gigs are on and if there is anything worthwhile and just chill out.. spend lots of time in the sun and at the park i think..
