Can I just say...my college financial aide department is the bain of my existance. I went in last week to turn in some paperwork to them and I asked point blank, "so I have everything but my W-2's turned into you, that's all you need correct?" They assured me beyond a shadow of a doubt that that was the last thing they needed. Well, today I waltzed truimphantly into the office to hand them said W-2's, relieved to finally have this taken care of, only to find out that there is yet another form that needs to be completed by myself and my mother. The animal inside wanted to jump over the desk and maul the woman. I tried to explain how frustrating and difficult this all was for me, especially in light of the fact that my mother lives three states away, but she was very unsimpathetic. My question is, how is such incompetance allowed to carry on in an otherwise very put together institution. I don't understand why it is so hard just to get what I'm entitled to.
