So I've had a great day. Day one of 3 days off from work. Went on a date with someone I met on nerve.com a 'singles' site. Yeah, internet dating. This girl was cool to toss notes back and forth with, and we did for a week or so. Then we both seemed to be free this week (she took vacation, just because, and called it a "staycation" because she's staying home, not travelling, cool huh?).
And the date turned out awsome. Oh my GAWD. She's just as cool in person (I was way worried that there wouldn't be the same chemistry we had in our online notes). And seems to think that I'm just as cool in person too (and I was sweating that, more than I can explain). A great afternoon road trip up to Marin County where we enjoyed drinks on a waterfront patio with a SF view, then a beer in the City, THEN a swanky dinner at one of SF's finest restaurants (Boulevard, if you live in SF or read Zagat you know it). This was all followed by a great First Kiss just outside the restaurant, and then a great session of talking/making out in the car for the next couple of hours. Yes, two grown adults who each have their own places sitting in a car parked on the street making out. Crazy, yet exciting, and fun. Wow.
Wow.
Wow.......
Now I'm home with a Makers and Coke and I'm hoping it all wasn't a dream. We tentatively have plans to hang tomorrow mid-day, but I'm not pushing it. Do I push it? Or do I let it hang. Rrrrrrrrrrr. I hate this part of dating. The "game" part. Not doing what you feel, but doing what you have to do to not make the other person feel freaked out. Rrrrrrrrr.
We shall see. Yes?
Great day.
