Alright, the new job is up and running. I made it through days 1 and 2 pretty much unscathed. Meeting all the people you meet when you take a new job is a challenge. So far I'm doing okay, not great with the names thing, but pretty good over-all. AND I worked 2 days and got my weekend (Sunday and Monday, typical restaurant days). So, after 6 weeks off, easing back in is alright by me.
The springline weather is back here in the Bay Area. Liking that. Good for the mood.
The Cute Veterinarian is coming over tonight for dinner. She and I hooked up late-night last night and she stayed over. Tonight I put on the Whole-Hog dinner fandango for her. Good cheese n' bread, tasty steamed mussels in white wine, garlic and parsley, a GREAT bottle of red, perhaps even a vegetable! For dessert, we'll experiment with a few fun after-dinner cocktails. I can't really tell you what's happening after that, gentlemen don't discuss such things on an open forum such as this. (but if you'd like to privately e-mail me I'm sure we could discuss it)
