Hey, back from Seattle. It was nice up there. VERY nice. And since I'm between jobs down here in the Bay Area (where it rained all weekend btw, but now has gotten sunny and nice) there was much pressure from my peeps in the Emerald City to move up there. And you know what? It don't sound half bad. I hadn't visited in quite a while, maybe 2-3 years. And it's soooo much cleaner than SF. Not as crowded. Cheaper! So what would the arguments be for staying here? Well, since you asked....I have a lease on my apartment until June. I need to work NOW and am about to land (fingers crossed) another pretty decent gig. Ummm, what else? It's San FranFuckingCisco! A great city, right? Umm, hello? Anybody?
Oh, and if this is anything, I HATE moving. Packing my stuff, planning the move, carting my boxes all over fuck and back is one of the least appealing thoughts that can enter my mind (sex with Oprah being up high on that list just for your reference). I pretty much have a mental block when it comes to moving. AND I've had to move 3 times in the last 2 years. So I'm sort of over the whole moving thing for a while.
What to do?
