Now that I'm back from vacation, and pretty much done doing laundry, cleaning the catbox, and have a handle on work issues that'd been piling up in my absense, it's time to turn to the "laptop project". You see, my pal Jenny (the summer fling) gave me an old laptop before she left. It's old...like maybe even more than 5 years old. My quetion, to all the extremely tech-savy SG folk: can I upgrade it so I can be out and about surfing the net with all the cool wireless internet stuff that seems so commonplace now? Or am I forever to be stuck attached to my desktop box (until I find the funds, or someone else gives me a newer laptop). If you want to attempt to answer this question let me know and I'll give you the details on which exact laptop I have.

Other than that.....ummmm, drinking a mocha and some juice, a little calico is purring/sleeping in my lap. Business as usual.
