havent put anything new in here in awhile. I went to the 208 tattoo festival recently i was impressed but the amount of tattoo booths both local and close regional and by the amount of other things going on (skate demos and glass blowing to name a few),, it must have take quite a bit of work to put on and props to that person or group. I was however, disappointed in the skills of the tattoo artists that were there. Most booths had on display the most classic of work, pieces that every single shop has on their walls and portfolios. very few displayed original work and the rare booth showed more than average skill. That is not to say i did not see fantastic works of skin being created because i did and the tattoo of the day contest on sunday was amazing, but the majority was subpar. For once i was a glad to be a broke ass.
