Back from rehearsal again. Today was the last day to be on book, so I tried going off book. Half success, half failure. Only had to call line like twice, and really nailed a few spots, but, for the most part, it was a luke warm performance, and a little over-acted. But, such are the days as you lose focus when transferring off-book, and you focus on remedial things like lines and blocking. Those will be second nature soon enough, and the focus will return to the character, and build from there to the scene and intentions, their obstacles and adjustments, and the heightening of the stakes.
