oof. back to work after a nice, and i mean really nice, weekend. a bit of rain early on, a bit sunny then chilly Sunday, and gloriously blue skied and decent warm, finally, yesterday. Much puttering and whatnot got done on the neverending landscape projects. Coming along nicely on the small brick patio area out front.
Caught the new Star Wars with a bud the other day...nothing new on the dating front- have been stymied with Cutie, she said she'd be more comfortable seeing me outside of work with a group of people. Wha?? I don't look like I bite, I don't think. O mixed message, conflicted heart woman, be at peace, take a chance on happiness that you create for yourself...
Saw The Lifters last weekend. Great show. They were playing with their new drummer, and a stand in bass player. Lead singer dude's voice is amazing-so soulful on a cover of Fire on the Mountain from the Grateful Dead. I've never been much of a Dead fan at all, but I sure loved that version.
ha ha- goofy squirrel outside the window. never seems to do much, just hops around, jumps on the tree, chatters at the neighbor squirrels. maybe it's been a squirrel holiday...
