yup, Ima minnesota boy: what's up with that white stuff falling hard out of the sky just now. Again, frickin brrr. Doggies are loving it of course, but it gets a bits chilly at the dog park.

On the lighter side, I've got some Cocteau Twins fired up on the iTunes right now, and am dancing lightly down memory lane. Such a singular sound...just love the airy, upward spiralling vocals...chills on the spine.

On the darker side, I'm still trying to sort out exactly how I want to feel about my friend's death. Was back from Germany all of twenty minutes when I found out. She had done battle with her body in many different ways, had brief and fleeting moments of being comfortable being human, of residing in her lovely temple here on this planet Earth.

More later. I've gotten enough varying versions of her death that I'll wait for the Medical Examiner to get tox results and whatnot back. The police have ruled out foul play, and she seemed doing fine enough that suicide seems not likely...but. She did say not too long ago that if she ever were to make the decision to check on out, she would go with no note, booze and pills. So maybe the ME will shed some light...
