hello everyone.
all the pins are gone now.
it took less than 24 hours for all 50 of them to go! you people are more rabid than i expected, and i think you are all great!
and there was not a single 'GIMME' or rude demand. everyone was civil and polite, even outgoing and overtly friendly! given some earlier experiences (not here) that is really a happy surprise. and it did make me feel better about this place, after all the recent respect & politeness issues on the boards...
i just wanted to do something that was totally pointless and fun, and that had no purpose beyond giving people some small positive token to associate with the site, and maybe deflect a little of the recent negativity on the boards... it looks like that problem may have already righted itself anyway, hopefully...
but this has been really fun! I think made a few new unexpected friends, i got a cool SG pin for my cap, and i really hope you all like your pins, too...
