last night, i went to see a friend's improv comedy troupe. and they sucked! i know improv usually involves a lot of hit or miss, but how could that many people miss so badly and never hit once? ack... at least it was free, and coincided with happy hour pint prices...
tonight, i went to see an aquaintence's band. really not my kind of music (rap/metal), but they were pretty good, and i had fun. a lot of friends were there, too. but whatever promoter thought that 10$ was a fair cover for three totally unknown bands at CBGBs really needs to find a fucking clue.
woo hoo! the cute girl upstairs just came by as i was typing this-- totally decked out in vinyl pants, tanktop, and long pigtails. she's going out with some friends, and wanted to know how late i'd be 'up'. looks like another booty call! sorta screws up my plans to get drunk tonight, but i'll survive...
oh, and when i went to CBGBs i left a small stack of SG stickers by the door. by the time i left, they were all gone!

i also saw an improv show that made me cringe and cringe! it was so bad that it turned me off improv for a while...it seemed so ridiculous that not a single joke turned out right all night long.
