seeing a band i've obsessed over and wanted to see for ten years!
crazyfuckingbusy work day. but at least i can work sans pants.
an ex has been trying to set me up with a friend of hers, who is really cute, for the past several weeks, now... i looked through her webpage and thought she'd be way too cerebral to put up with the scruffy likes of me, but my ex thinks otherwise. oh, so i bring... Read More
Yah, unfortunately I need the cane. I wish that it was for something as cool as an incident at a Bow Wow Wow show. I have gout and was at the pharmacy picking up some steroids for my foot. I'm hoping that it will be gone within a year.
Nabokov's language is amazing for a native English speaker. Considering that his first language was Russian, truly shows waht a remarkable artist he was. Conrad was the same way. Most native English speaking writers could never manage what he produced in Heart of Darkness. Those guys were dope, yo!
Allright! you know who wrote mah na mah na. I'm impressed!
*** NOTICE! I may have mistakenly blocked some of you in AIM. if I did, I'm sorry-- try me again now! ***
i just got back from the best concert i have seen in years... it was the most close and intimate show i think i have ever been to, but it was also completely light-hearted and funny... endearing, charming, loving, glowing, boy do i... Read More
yeah, what kind of music do they play? the only norwegian bands i'm familiar with are.....uh.........A-ha (from the 1980s), and *cough* Darkthrone. yes, the norwegian black/death metal band, which i heard in a music store one night, after hours.
but i can't complain about that, as even when it's stressful i love my work. and i work from home, so how much better could it be? i even set the alarm to make sure i was up before 10am this morning, even though i didn't get to bed until after 5... oh, and the cute... Read More
The feedback thing totally confuses me. Half the time I can't figure out who left it because it won't let me look at the auction. I just wanted to make sure you got it and liked it. Did it smell like smoke? We smoke and I was wondering if our shirts got delivered with a smoke smell to them...
sounds like a very sweet deal you have going upstairs...
a friend of mine was lamenting the same thing re: women. he says he keeps going on dates with women who are too "nice" and conventional for him..."a slippery slope into a minivan," he put it. i think there are lots of creative, intelligent, independent women around. maybe one will find you when you least expect it.
wish i was where you are. the temperature has dropped from 35 celsius to 4 all of a sudden and going outside is depressing. sigh. and everyone is wearing too much clothing for august. people in wooly scarves!
yup....i actually had no idea who they were but my friend is really into them so i went to the show with her...and it was good! you'll have a damn fine time
gawd. i got to the park at 2pm, called twelvis at 2:30 and he was still lounging in his bedroom having decided not to come without informing me. boy is HE gonna get a whoopin' the next time i see him. i mean, i even painted my TOEnails. ANYWAY, if you were there, you probably saw all the crazies that were dancing and having fist fights in front of the stage. i was so scared that the mr. t-like woman was going to come over and kill me. later, some old man that was taking off his pants came over and grabbed my about the legs, and my girl taryn almost broke out some kung-fu on his ass. ANYWAY, maybe you saw me and didn't know it was me... i was the girl with the grey beret/cap thing and the french dancing outfit.
Well, I mean, like, kitty cats are totally ginchy - but I REALLY miss that fucked up picture with the oral contraption. It was just SO Joel Peter Whitkin!
