So, the NIN gig was totally worth the wait. It was a strange setlist in that there was no Hurt or March of the Pigs, nothing from the Fragile, and they played Deep (from the Tomb Raider OST). But guess what? I don't care! They were awesome, they played a decent-length set and even the support were pretty good (Ladytron, FYI).

Apart from that, here are the things that have been rocking my world as of late:

• I finally got the sample for my project ordered. It's a Morpho Menelaus butterfly, and it's very pretty.
• Maximum The Hormone - they do the new Death Note themes and they rock. Basically, a JRock System of a Down.
• Starbuck42 - she's the ticket, she's geeky and you should go say hi. Now!
• Again, Death Note - I know I always mention this but no series should be this good
• Got my MTI group project handed in, even if me and a friend had to pick up the slack for another, more useless member of the group. Bitter, moi?
• Might be going to Alton Towers next month. Woot!
• The lunar eclipse - I know I'm sad but it was pretty damn memorable
