The past week has been pretty quiet and uneventful. Still no luck on the job front, but I did find out that Emma's gonna finish up her placement in England early, so she's gonna be home around the end of July. Plus, I'm gonna fly down for a few days at the end of the month so I'm pretty happy right now.
Had a weird night on Sunday in that what was supposed to have been a quiet drink with friends ended up with us building a campfire in his garden, cooking bacon draped over beer cans on it, and raiding Mossend for anything combustible. He is now missing half a fence and a chunk of his garage.
Still, twas a very chilled night, which was just what we all needed. God bless fire, beer, meat and good weather.
On an end note, I picked up my new glasses today and I'm starting to fear I look slightly emo. Pics of the new me and of fire are in my pics folder. I'd appreciate any opinions but please...be gentle.

James is doing Primary teaching, hopefully yr5 or 6. I think that's a good year to teach.
