Title: I'm Open To Falling From Grace

1). U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
2). The Killers - All These Things That I've Done
3). Pearl Jam - Given to Fly
4). Nine Inch Nails - Everyday Is Exactly The Same
5). Mike Doughty - Sunken-Eyed Girl
6). Radiohead - Creep
7). Bush - The Chemicals Between Us
8). Nonpoint - In the Air Tonight
9). Fiona Apple - Better Version of Me
10). Sneaker Pimps - 6 Underground
11). Sheryl Crow - Home
12). Nelly Furtado - Explode (acoustic)
13). Eels - The Poor Side of Town (Morning Becomes Eclectic)
14). The Beatles - Rocky Raccoon
15). Bloodhound Gang - Fire, Water, Burn
16). Bt - The Only Constant is Change

Running time: 1:08:16
Couple of notes:

The Sneaker Pimps track rocks my fucking face off since I remember hearing it on "The Edge" and "Out of Order with Jed the Fish" back when we were under the impression that the local new-music radio station didn't suck (all to be young and naive again...damnit!). I was going through this list of cds i downloaded last semester and that cd stood out.

As far as I know, this is the first time I've put a Beatles track on one of these. Another one that's been bouncing around in my head. And this may be the only time I can go in a cd from the Eels to The Beatles to the fucking Bloodhound Gang. I've clearly lost my goddamn mind. And no, connor... no Kaboom-Kaboom moments.

The Nonpoint cover of "In The Air Tonight" is easily the best 80s cover i've heard all year.

Mike Doughty should be listened to by all people who can muster up a breath and release it on your own (those on respirators will be exempt from this demand...for now. But don't think i'll forget about you!). And i'm going to keep insisting this until I start seeing CDs in cars and cd-shelfs. What was wrong with Soul Coughing? Nothing, they were great. And this is a better, more focused, and more rock oriented effort from their lead-singer.

This Sheryl Crow track has been my favorite of her's since I was a freshman in high school.

And this track from Fiona Apple is from her never-released "Extrodinay Machine." It's a great album if you can find it online. A thousand times better than either one of her recent collaborations with Johnny Cash that ended up on his American boxest and American IV album. That cover of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" nearly makes my top 10 list of the worst of all time.

Music played at the store today:

Eels live set from their recent tour
Fiona Apple - Tidal
Robert Randolph - Live at the Wetlands

Work was pretty steady. Finished Choke by Chuck Palahniuk today. When I read it the first time I didn't understand nor like the ending. Now I just don't like it. Finished that at roughly 9ish so I had about three hours to kill between customers. That's a long time for someone with nothing to think about.
