I don't understand how this group of songs works, but it does. Another one of those theme discs for the greyness that is North Dakota winter. No Kaboom, Kaboom moments, a nice good flow though on paper Neil Young going into Jay-Z makes very little sense but it's really one of those 'trust me' things. That and the acoustic cover of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" really make this disc.
How am i doing? Well enough I suppose. Bit of a rough day yesterday but i'm getting better. Even when extremely inebriated i can't sleep. I've been like this before and it wasn't a pleasent time so i'm a little weary. Since my back doesn't hurt as much anymore I imagine i'll be doing the exorcise to be tired thing soon though i still hurt a little too much at the moment. I'll be glad when this is finally gone and isn't effecting me. When it hurts to get out of your car to the point where you feel like screaming, its usually not a good sign.
Planning a trip to the cities next week for a few days. Aparently Conrad is throwing a party and i'm bringing the nyquil.
"Nyquil makes a dandy eggnog. Oh my friends bitched through the whole party 'this tastes like shit!' but by the end of it, we had a fun sleepover.
My understanding of the evening is that you would probably want to bring a sleeping bag for a night as Friday night (night of party) is probably going to resemble either Jonestown the morning after or the Heaven's Gate suicides. Blue sheets and all. That, and it's not really a party until we chuck bottles at Connor's old place of residence (that lawn really needs more Killian's shards in it).
