So because of Christmas break, she and i are going to attempt to resume things in January. I know it isn't going to happen, but it's a nice little thought at least. And I accomplished a goal for the semester. Initially I intended to have a Melanie (from Jackie Brown) hang around in a bikini top and shorts, fixing me drinks while I paid her way through whatever came our way ("You couldn't just hit her?"). But i'll live, and there is always next semester. I was just bitter and jaded yesterday, particularly because i hadn't eaten much and went out to the bar for free drinks. Free drinks are always good after a choir concert.

I became the head of the recording studio today in an informal ceremony, and by that I mean the instructor emasculated the current head and said that next year we're going in a different direction. I head it, and shit WILL get done and done right. I'm not power-obsessed person, but I do like the right person in charge of things. An anal-person like myself will kick this thing in the ass and get it off the ground.

Headed to Grand Forks soon, but not soon enough for my tastes. I'll probably be in town Friday night and ready for shananagins. Or, failing that, a good jukebox.
