so, brook and i are done. just figured i'd start with that and move from there.

Today was quite the day, one i'll certainly never forget. took my geo final, kicked it's ass, and set up for the garage band concert. we fucking rocked it. the instructors, the students, and the president of the university were all bobbing their head and enjoying themselves. and i've learned many things about women and friends today. Sam was going to be dating this girl that caught my eye from week one of the semester. they went on one date, realized she should have dated me instead, blew him off, and decided to persue me.

this weekend i spent drinking going 'good for sam, but fucking a sam!'. fast-forward to tonight where we watched as we clicked perfectly. lots of that great first-kiss jitters and some people will tell you i tend to ramble on and on when it comes to that. at least it's amusing banter, or i attempt it. we'd been hitting on each other for the last few months so it was nice to see something actually come to fruition. that's right, start dating someone right before i won't see her for three weeks.

katie is tiny (a little taller than shelly) but a twig. i think she's actually a hundred and seventy-five pounds lighter than me. looks like i'll be hitting the treadmill shortly. I have a soft-spot for former cute-little-goth-girls that are piano majors. Sam can't know yet, i have to tread very carefully there when i say 'yeah, so that girl that we were fighting over at the beginning of the semester that blew you off the other night because you're boring by yourself and not with the "guys"? yeah, she and i are dating now. and i know i said i'd stay away from that situation but i'm a bad person and she made the first move.'
