As i entered the office and asked for the sheet of paper, i heard a choir of demons tuning up. A thousand demons singing a thousand octaves, and all in latin. it built and built and built until I handed in the paper, when the strings brought the music to a fever pitch...then we stood in our perfect moment, the receptionist and i. I had declared my major: music business. surprisingly, they didn't ask for a vial of blood when i signed the 'change of advisor' section.

i cannot emphasize how great Nada Surf's new album is. I've been listening to it a lot lately and it's fucking phenomenal. a solid album from an artist i had nearly forgotten (save for their 90's song 'popular') if not for their appearance on the Current 93.
