streets of paris
ramming into the park
caution to myself crying and the rain in
sheets
some father figure
racing his own cart
down aisles of grocery store
repremanding
nodding
approving
so much power
in consent
we
were a pair
though me and younger me
though younger was pretty scared
and i pretty nervous
but mohicans
and slayed
demons
all said we did pretty good
