I've run across a number of MtF trans folks who have chosen the name Jessica, and it makes me wonder why. It was something I'd considered, because apparently that's what my parents would have named me if I was born female.
But I've since drifted more to Nora, and variations on it. It's a name I've always liked and have used for characters in my writing. Also thought about last names, because that is something I've wanted to change regardless. Kinda feel like Nora Dahl works, maybe.
