I was around 8 years old. My dad the drunk, and my mom and I piled in the Ford Escort so my mom could drive my dad to the barbershop to have his hair cut. As we exit the car into the parking lot of the strip mall where the barber was located, stumbling around is my dad, who out of nowhere starts singing "no balls at all, no balls at all, I am the man with no balls at all" at the top of his lungs, much to the embarrassment of my mom and I, and to the perplexed stares of the people nearby.

I found this very strange, as I had never heard such a song before in my life, and still haven't to this day. I know for a fact that my dad indeed has balls, as I had seen him leisurely stroll through the house nude on many an occasion, when I was kid.

I just wish I could go back in time to that very moment, and get into his head, because it's remained a mystery to me to this day, from whence that disconcerting and deeply troubling song came.... and could potentially shed some light into why I'm such a fucking weirdo today.
