So I recieved a letter from the US Army today, which went something like, "Thank you for serving in the military, do you miss being in the service for blah blah blah? You should come join the army." The wording was a little different, but that was the general gist of it. The scary thing is, it's awfully tempting. I miss the steady paycheck, and I miss being part of something important. And I miss wearing a uniform. And it's not the Navy, which I swore not to return to. And I never did get to shoot me an Iraqi Nevertheless, I'm enjoying college even if I don't particularly care for being a broke-ass college student. So after this little wave of temptation swept over me, I tossed it in the trash and resumed doing nothing particularly productive. So there.
