I had a great time Sunday!!! I assisted my belly dance troupe leader with a workshop. She does occassional workshops around Southwest Florida. I'm a generally shy person, so it was a big step for me out of my comfort zone, but it was absolutely worth it. Since I'm a bigger girl than my twig of an instructor, the bigger ladies felt more comfortable. Most people don't realize that some of the best belly dancers are bigger.
Random phrase, and if someone gets why it was said and who said it, props to you:
"Oh god, who's he eaten this time?"
Back to the previous subject, I was going to help with the workshop because someone in our troupe wasn't able to. I wasn't really expecting anything out of it. Yet I got Zills (Sagat, Finger Cymbals) worth $25, a tribal hair decal worth $8, and a belt decal worth $10, $40 for gas money, and a free yoga class worth $17. I totally made out and had no intention to. I feel special. =^_^=
