Vader couldn't do it, Bill the Butcher couldn't do it. but Lector brought home his second title victory despite a strong showing by the competition.

no contest here. in a field dominated by men (the women were outnumbered 7-1) Ishii made it to the final 4, the first woman to do so since Maleficent made it to the finals in 2007 and the only woman to do so since the tournament became exclusive to non super-powered entities. along the way she knocked off top names like Colt, Alex and Dexter Morgan.

Nurse Ratched

much like Mola Ram last year, Ratched came in a 15th seed and took out her much higher ranking opponent (Bill) in possibly the biggest upset in tournament history. she then went on to win her second round match as well before falling to Dexter Morgan.
