if you could see me right now, you would see me doing the celebratory booty dance.

why? because i get to escape from my current job sooner than i thought.

originally, i was just going to be leaving whence i found a job doing massage....then they had decided that they were going to kill the overnight shift after i left.

NOW, they decided, why wait? my shift is kaput as of 8/15, which is, incidentally a month before i finish school much less have the option of finding a job. they offered me some shifts during the day (not the same amount of hours i had before) which is basically a bullshit offer. at first i was kind of pissed (shocker, i know) that i was getting fucked like this. i know im not exactly a model employee, but i call out about 3 times a year and despite my surly attitude i do my job.

but then i thought about it....im going to qualify for unemployment. w00t! in all my years of working, ive never collected unemployment, so why the fuck not? i can finish school and use that extra time to scope the area out and find a job and do a bit of catching up on some me time. and even if i will earn less from unemployment, it will even out when you figure that i wont be driving 350 miles a week to and from work. actually, im happier that i wont have to do that more than im happy i wont have to work for a month and a half.

anyways, yay!
