okay, finally got down to fucking doing this.
so here goes...
the 2008 Ronald Reagan Memorial Villain Invitational Tournament!
for those of you just joining, its pretty simple. you pick the winners of the matches. for the past three years, the tourney was open to almost all villains, but this year we eliminated all the guys with magic/force/mutant/immortality/etc powers and now being badass will have to be enough.
that said, the rules stay almost the same
1. no weapons allowed! only brute force and ingenuity.
moving along...here are your first matches!
1. Bill (Kill Bill) vs. Hans Gruber (Die Hard)

okay, lets not mince words here. hes kind of a pussy. but hes a slippery little shit and with a little luck could slime his way through this.
2. Hannibal Lector (Silence of the Lambs) vs. MacBeth

for an old man, he can beat some ass. hes also arguably the smartest motherfucker in this game and is most definitely one to be taken seriously

the textbook tragic-hero, but for my devices, hes a villain. scores bonus points for going into battle knowing hes about to go down.
3. Seth Gecko (From Dusk 'Til Dawn) vs. Mickey Knox (Natural Born Killers)

street smart and fearless, Seth has performed well in past tourneys but was always stumped by someone out of his league. with the playing field leveled, he could go far.

hes not very bright, but hes crafty. yes, there is a difference. and anyways, what he lacks in brains he makes up for in cruelty.
4. Anton Chigurh (No Country For Old Men) vs. Ordell Robbie (Jackie Brown)

okay, confession here....i havent see this movie yet. i probably will this weekend when i get it through netflix. suffice to say that ive heard plenty and he MORE than qualifies for the tourney in psycho alone. bonus points for having a haircut that makes him look like a mongoloid.

5. Tony Montana (Scarface) vs. Jack Torrance (The Shining)

Hes a street fighter and a sick fuck. id say he has a bad temper, but those with tempers
get pissed off. hes just pissed off all the time. like me.

even without an axe, he is crazy and pretty tough to take down. and there aint going to be any snow in this match. unless tony brings it, of course.
6. Otis B. Driftwood (The Devil's Rejects) vs. Richie Gecko (From Dusk 'Til Dawn)

if badass were currency, this guy would be a millionaire, and if looks could kill hed be on deathrow. although thatd be kinda redundant since he killed a lot of people already.

younger brother of Seth Gecko. seems a tad less tough than his older brother, but makes up for it by being a sick fuck and a serial rapist.
7. Joker (Batman) vs. Vincent Sinclair (House of Wax)

yeah im going there.....yeah i know hes dead, fuck you, he looks badass. it doesnt matter the movie hasnt come out yet, you already know about the joker.

the crazy bitch to end all crazy bitches. you know youre fucking scary when this movie is still referenced 20 years later.
okay, and we are off! hopefully i can play catch up with this a bit since i started 3 weeks later than usual.
2. Hannibal - the guys too smart and willing to do sick things, also Macbeth got all whiny after the murder
3.Seth Gecko - sure mickey's crazy but he likes to talk & Seth is a big fan of the cheep shot. and can take a beating
4. didn't see either but leaning toward Sammy J.
5. Jack - he physically brutal, and crazy, tony is small, needs weapons and blow. also one to talk alot
6.Otis - Richie's nuts and dealt great with a bullet wound thru his hand the whole flick but he got ko'd by a back hand. and while Otis likes to talk hes in good shape and brutal.
7.Joker- routinely fights one of the best martial artists on the planet, and has held his own a couple times. fights really dirty. knows alot about inflicting pain. and about taking it.
8. Travis- really un-sure on this but on physicality. travis, but he dosnt think hes bad, i dont think hes bad, just fucked up. and he thinks of women weird but so he might hesitate, you know until he knocks her the fuck out for being nuts, if they dont fall in love first
