to clarify, yes, i am trying to quit smoking, not just torturing myself. if i want that, ill just start dating again.
im kinda poor at the moment. getting benefits at work was good, but that deduction from my paycheck put my right below my comfort level. im not going to be broke, but im definitely below my, "in case shit," line i like to have more money than in my account.
so saving myself about $180 a month seems like a good reason. plus, im making a bunch of other changes as well, might as well do a lot of it at once.
now, some of you wont be surprised by this, some of you will think im crazy, and some of you will just laugh. know what i did the last day i was smoking? well, i had tried quitting a few times, and that first day is always the hardest. i figured if i could get past that first day, im in good shape. so i figured a little aversion therapy might help. so i chain smoked until i threw up. after that, i couldnt really look at them for several hours. so that worked, i guess.

Good luck on the smoking bit. I know that's hard.
