Just laying in bed letting my mind wander. Strange the thing that come into your head as you lay relaxed and let your mind wander unleashed and unfocused on anything. Things you never thought important before seem to drift in and you ponder them more then you normally would. You get rare glimpses of what is subconsciously important to you. You say you've given up on love, yet you mind begins to think if there really is someone out there for you and if your paths are destined to cross. You think your most precious dreams and hopes are lost perhaps, but there they are renewed and stronger as clarity of how to obtain them is gifted to you. Pain too will drift in and though it hurts it also teaches. You see the mistakes that led to them more clearly and therefore will be less likely to make them again. The wandering mind is a curious thing.
