last night, _bossanova_ came out to the dirty jerz to hang with me, watch true blood and entourage, and eat my food. then during 1am channel surfing, my dog began to talk. and then talked for 10 minutes. i captured some of it for your amusement:

Also: riding in Prospect Park is $37 per hour and riding in Central Park (holy shit!) is $100 per hour.

i'm sitting in lyrical's room, tweaking on two cups of vietnamese espresso iced coffee. i haven't tweaked on coffee since i had a 5 shot americano on new year's '07 after cavorting around the city with whole wheat bread (band i traveled with at the time) and going to work two hours later, still kinda drunk.

I'm planning to have a drink or two at Karma Thursday afternoon maybe around 2 or 2:30. Would you like to stop by?
My late wife and I visited her aunt and uncle about 6 months after we got married. They lived in an adult community in Ft. Lauderdale. We were at the pool one afternoon, when my wife's aunt told us that there was something she accidentally left in our room and asked us to retrieve.
When we went to our room, we were greeted by a display of candles, chocolates and his and hers bathrobes. We took the hint and had a wonderful afternoon making love.
This was a totally wonderful and unexpected surprise from two people who were obviously very much in love and wanted to transfer some of their feelings for each other onto us. Needless to say, we often reminisced about that day.

I wound up stopping by Karma and having a drink on Thursday. I'm not much of a drinker, but Lyrical made me some kind of concoction that was really delicious. I wish I was in a better mood. I was obviously thinking about the things I wound up talking about in my latest blog. I may have not been the best company anyway.
I have an important appointment nexr Thursday in Brooklyn. It happens to be Yom Kippur, so it's a good thing that I'm not a practicing Jew anymore because I can't afford to pass this appointment up.
If you're interested, we could meet sometime late afternoon. maybe around 3 pm or so that day. Perhaps, if Lyrical is working and doesn't mind, we could meet at Karma. If that doesn't work for either of you, we can figure out something else. Don't worry about it if you can't. I don't think either of us is going anywhere.
