i forgot what it's like to have a job. it's tiring. but in a good way. i'm taking as many hours as i can get not only to distract myself mentally, but to extinguish as much of this bullshit debt as possible. the other upside is i'm getting myself back on a slightly "normal" sleep schedule. i can't remember the last time i was tired enough for bed before midnight.
the other thing i'm happy about is now that i have a job, i can play tattoo catch up. i already have two smaller ones in the works, and then two larger pieces probably by next year.
my friend went to japan with his band recently, and tomorrow i get my presents from japan! i'm pretty sure it's only going to be candy, but i'm also excited to see the gift-giver, as he is a major influence on my life lately. i'll post what i get the next time i have some leisure time on the computer, probably later this week.
i'd hate to be so cheery when most of my friends' blogs aren't all sunshine and rainbows, but i really have next to nothing to complain about right now.

Hey, Labyrinth is playing the night before Thanksgiving. That's the only time I'll be here that it's playing, so I may go, but there's always Nightmare Before Christmas in December (the 5th & 6th). We have so much fun to look forward to!
I
